Karen + Nick
Wow, there's a lot I can say about this wedding and about Karen and Nick. We first were connected through Wedgewood's Redwood Canyon Instagram. We then ended up meeting at Wooden Valley Winery to discuss packages plans and all that exciting information. I think we could all tell that upon meeting each other for the first time that we were going to create some magic together. Their engagement photos were dream at Baker Beach and it was only reflection of what a wonderful couple they are and what a beautiful wedding they would have.
Before I get into all the details of their wedding day, I just have to say how much I deeply admire these two people. When you see them interact with their friends and families They are so genuine and authentic and you can tell just as an outsider how deeply they care about all of those around them. It was beyond a pleasure to get to capture their love story and I'm very thankful that we became friends through me capturing their wedding journey.
Okay enough of the mush now you're on to the wedding details.
Karen got ready at the most adorable Airbnb nearby and her hair stylist killed it styling her gorgeous natural curls. The boys kicked it at the venue and my wonderful second shooter from beloved captures got some of the most hilarious photos that I could have wished for of them.
Their ceremony reception was held at the Wedgewood Redwood Canyon Venue. Who has some of the most wonderful staff that I've ever encountered at a wedding venue and their ceremony and reception site alone is to die for, let alone the gorgeous drive-in to the venue from the main road itself. I'm someone who really likes experiences and you really fully feel like you're enveloped into somebody's big wedding day just driving into their tree filled valley.
Some special moments that I really loved were:
Karen's first look with her brothers. Her father passed away and recent years until it was really special to get to see the two most important men in her life.
Nicks amazing dance moves! Some of the best I've ever seen at a wedding!
