Melyssa + Jesus
I had the pleasure of photographing Melyssa's sister and her daughters earlier this year. During that session her sister mentioned how Melyssa was planning on eloping and what a sweet couple they were. One thing after another happened and I was meeting Melyssa at Vacaville's Journey's Coffee Co. for a consultation. Her invitations alone showed the attention to detail she had for their big day and her smile showed how excited she was to finally be marring Jesus.
Melyssa and Jesus met at work and became friends quickly. For a year they were talking as friends and after dating for three months they made it official. Jesus jokingly asked Melyssa to marry him before asking to be a couple she always thought he was kinda joking about it. He properly proposed in front of her family this past March.

During our consultation Melyssa mentioned that Jesus never smiles for photos and she has one good photo of them together smiling. I took this as a challenge as candid laughing photos are some of my favorites to capture and I think they really showcase some sweet moments between couples.
During the day Jesus family was even face timing his mother in Mexico so she could see the whole day unfold!
